1. Why hire a wedding planner/coordinator?
Most brides think they should just have a family member assist with coordination on the wedding day. However, it is best to let the whole family enjoy the festivities. There will be a lot of little pieces to put together throughout the day and a coordinator can do all this. Hire a Day of Coordinator (DOC) to do all the worrying and make sure you enjoy the moment.
2. What is required to book my event with D'Concierge Events?
You are required to sign a service agreement along with a non-refundable deposit which varies based on each package. You will be sent an invoice for the balance which will be due sixty days prior to your wedding date.
3. What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept money orders, PayPal, cash payments, all major credit cards and checks.
4. Is there a cancellation policy?
All cancellations should be submitted in writing. All deposits are non-refundable.
5. Do I have to use your recommended vendors?
No. We recommend vendors based on the quality of their work and services. However, our clients are free to suggest vendors of their choice.
6. If my reception hall provides a bridal attendant and Maître D', why should I hire a DOC?
The bridal attendants and MaîtreD'work for your reception hall. They may want your day to be successful, but their loyalty is to their boss (the reception hall), not you. Your DOC will work for you and advocate for you. Your DOC is also there to ensure that your requests are not overlooked.
7. Are you available for same sex commitment ceremonies?
Yes. Feel free to contact us with questions.
8. Does D'Concierge Events have liability insurance?
Yes. If your reception hall requires proof of insurance, we can provide upon request.
